9th Place

I finished 9th today in Torino. The competition was tough and the track was fast. Once again I had two PR pushes but couldn't seem to piece the track together this year. I've never gone into a race feeling like it was just another practice day... I say this because I hadn't figured out the lines I wanted to take so I didn't know how to prepare myself for the best run...it was just another two times down the track trying to figure things out. I'm disappointed because I know I have the potential to be really fast here but this wasn't my race to shine. I still like this track so I hope I get the chance to visit again.

We're off to Konigssee, Germany tomorrow morning. The traveling never ends. I love the track we're going to next especially because it's right next to Salzburg, Austria (one of my favorite cities in Europe). We're not sure if the race is Saturday or Sunday...every nation seems to think something different. I'll let everyone know once we find out!

I'm off to get my last true italian pizza!!
